Ulajh is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language spy thriller starring Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by National Award-winner Sudhanshu Saria and written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, the film follows the journey of a young IFS officer from a patriotic family who becomes entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while stationed abroad.
Ulajh is set to release in cinemas on August 2, 2024. Produced by Vineet Jain under Junglee Pictures, the film will have a pan-India release in Hindi. Other language options are yet to be confirmed. Actress Janhvi Kapoor also shared this on her social media handles with the caption ‘Everyone has a story. Every story has secrets. Every secret is a trap. In the trailer, Janhvi Kapoor portrays the character of Suhana Bhatia, who becomes India’s youngest deputy high commissioner in the Indian Foreign Service. However, people accuse her of obtaining the position through nepotism. A crisis ensues, and Suhana disappears mysteriously for 24 hours, becoming the prime suspect. She claims, ‘My identity, my existence has been stolen; I’ve been made a scapegoat.’ At last, she declares, ‘Now, this goat will eat the lion.’
